Overlay

The overlay is a transparent OBS browser source. It stays empty until a payout lands, then it plays the ding and the donation toast.

OBS setup

Open /overlay/{handle}/setup. Copy the browser source URL. In OBS add a Browser Source, paste the URL, and leave the background transparent. Position: top-right, top-left, bottom-right, or bottom-left. Test fires a sample alert and the ding.

The ding

The product is named after that sound. When a donation is ready to play on stream, the overlay beeps and shows amount, creator, and note. The streamer reacts on camera. They never open Ding to “claim” it.
